International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results 2009

Our IBDP pass rate is 100% with 21.9% of all exams gaining a maximum number of 7 points.  22.7% of our students achieved above 40 points out of a maximum of 45 with two students attaining 42 points.  The average points achieved per student is 34.23 - well above the world average of 30.58.

This is excellent and helps to ensure that our graduates are now heading off to join prestigious universities around the world.

IGCSE results 2009

Our IGCSE results are also very pleasing, with over a quarter of our grades (26.4%) at A*.

52.7% of the grades were A* or A, and 94.4% of grades were A* to C.

Dulwich College Shanghai Top Results in China for IGCSE 2009

We are pleased to announce that four DCS students have achieved an impressive five Cambridge Outstanding Achiever Awards in China from the June 2009 IGCSE examination session.

Jennifer Lin who achieved three Top in China awards for English Literature, Mathematics and Spanish.  She was the only student in China to win more than one award, which is a remarkable achievement.

Equally exceptional were:

Maithreyi Raman who achieved Top in China for French
Jessica Barton who achieved Top in China for Drama

Mr Paul Friend, Headmaster at Dulwich College Shanghai said, “Winning five awards is testimony to the outstanding calibre of students here at DCS and the strength and quality of the teaching provided by our excellent teaching staff.”

CIE’s regional representative for China, Xiaoyuan Nie said once again China’s reputation as a country of outstanding young talent had been secured. She said: “Every one of our Cambridge Outstanding Achiever Award winners has shown their determination, commitment and hard work in obtaining such excellence results in their Cambridge examinations.
